About the event
Ready to Reset? Step Inside the "Sensory Switch Off”
Ever feel like your brain has too many tabs open? Between work, screens, and daily stress, our minds and bodies rarely get a chance to fully unplug.
Our "Sensory Switch Off" sessions are designed to be a gentle reset. By soothing your five senses, we help your nervous system shift from "fight-or-flight" stress into deep, peaceful recovery.
Choose Your Comfort
We offer two different ways for you to lie back and unwind:
The Floating Path (Suspended Hammock): Leave gravity behind. Resting in a suspended hammock creates a gentle rocking motion that naturally tricks your brain into feeling incredibly safe and secure, melting away daily stress. If you like extra cosy support, you are also provided with a blanket, pillow, and bolster to take into your hammock with you.
The Grounded Path (Memory Foam Bed): Sink into a premium memory foam mattress, wrapped in cozy pillows and blankets. This path includes an ergonomic bolster pillow under your knees to instantly relieve lower back tension and let your spine completely flatten and relax.
What Everyone Will Experience (Included in Both Paths)
Somatic Comfort (Weighted Eye Pillow): Resting over your eyes is a comforting, weighted pillow. The gentle pressure acts as a biological "chill switch," signaling your nervous system to instantly slow your heart rate down and quiet your mind.
Soothing Sound (Crystal Singing Bowls): The pure, beautiful vibrations of crystal bowls act like a massage for your mind, naturally washing away anxious thoughts and mental chatter.
Deep Relaxation (Guided Yoga Nidra): You will be guided through a deeply relaxing meditation while lying down. It unloads mental fatigue so effectively that one hour can feel as refreshing as a four-hour deep sleep.
Calming Scents (Aromatherapy): Beautiful, natural plant oils fill the air, instantly telling your brain it is safe to let go and relax.
The Afterglow: Reflect & Connect
We don't just rush you back into the busy world. At the end of the session, we gently guide you back around the circle to ground yourself. Enjoy a soothing cup of hot herbal tea and delicious chocolate while you take a few quiet moments to journal, reflect, or connect with like-minded people.
The Result
You won’t just leave feeling relaxed—you will feel completely reset and re-grounded. Most clients walk away with a quieter mind, looser muscles, and a warm sense of connection that helps them sleep beautifully for days to follow.

Important information – health, safety, arrival and cancellations
Sound & singing bowls
Floating Rest includes an extended period of relaxation accompanied by crystal singing bowls. While many people find the sound and gentle vibrations deeply calming, this type of sound experience may not be suitable for everyone.
If you are unsure and have epilepsy, are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, or have any other condition for which you have been advised to avoid strong sound or vibration, Please seek advice from your healthcare professional before attending or contact us before booking.
Hammock safety
For safety, the maximum participant weight for the Floating Experience is 150 kg.
The hammock experience is gentle and restorative, but hammocks are not suitable for pregnant participants. If you are pregnant, please choose the Grounded Experience instead.
Participants will be given clear guidance on how to enter, use and exit the hammock safely. If you have any injury, mobility difficulty or other circumstance that may affect your ability to safely use the hammock, please contact us before booking.
Arrival & late entry
Doors will open 10 minutes before the advertised start time, allowing you to arrive, settle in and get comfortable before the experience begins.
As Floating Rest is a deeply immersive relaxation experience, late entry will not be possible once the session has started. This is to protect the peaceful atmosphere and ensure that other participants are not disturbed once they have settled into their relaxation.
Please allow plenty of time for your journey and aim to arrive in good time.

Preparing For Your Session (FAQs)
What should I wear?
Comfort is your absolute priority. We highly recommend comfortable clothing. You are more than welcome to wear your favourite loungewear or even your pyjamas.
Can I wear jewellery?
If you are choosing The Floating Path (Hammock), we kindly ask that you remove all jewellery—including rings, bracelets, watches and earrings—before stepping into your hammock. This is simply to prevent any sharp edges or clasps from catching or snagging on the delicate silk fabric.
Do I need to bring any equipment?
No, you don't really need to bring anything. We provide a luxury setup for everyone, including weighted eye pillows, soft pillows, cosy blankets and buckwheat bolsters.
Can I bring my own extra comfort items?
Absolutely. While we provide everything you need to be cosy, you are welcome to bring along anything that helps you feel most comfortable. You may also want to bring your own journal or notebook if you would like to write and reflect during our final 30 minutes together.
Do I need to have experience with meditation or sound healing?
Not at all. This session is designed for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. There is nothing for you to practice or "get right"—you just need to lie back and listen.
What if I fall asleep or snore?
Falling asleep is completely normal and a wonderful sign that your body feels safe enough to let go! Please do not worry or feel self-conscious if you snore—this is a completely judgment-free zone. To keep the soundscape peaceful for the whole room, if someone’s snoring is persistent the facilitator might give their foot a very gentle squeeze. This is just a quiet, reassuring cue to help shift positions into a lighter sleep without startling you.
Do I have to talk during the connection time?
Only if you want to. The final 30 minutes is your time to ground yourself over tea and chocolate. You are welcome to quietly write in your journal, sit in peaceful reflection, or chat and share your experience with others. It is entirely up to you.
